The Direction defines where I’m going without caring about specific goals. Instead of trying to predict where I want to be in five years, there is a simple idea I’m heading toward. In some sense it can be compared to a life philosophy or a vision.
The Direction requires me to continually optimize the process, reflecting on the actions I take and on myself, to keep a steady pace.
Where am I heading?
My life is entirely about continuous growth and inspiring others to do the same. I pursue this by seeking the most effective path, through leverage.
The statement above lives in my every day and in nearly every action I take. In other words, this is what my life is about.
Do I set any goals?
Of course I do. In some scenarios it’s good to have something to achieve. But goals can also lead to disillusionment and disappointment. It seems to be a better idea to focus on what we’re doing here and now, instead of fixating on what may or may not come in the future.
